Bad Bunny Helps 10-Year-Old Uvalde Shooting Survivor Buy New Home, Gives Her 'Fun Night' at His Texas Concert
Bad Bunny has teamed up with other reggaeton singers to help fund a new home for Mayah Nicole Zamora, a 10-year-old survivor of the Uvalde school shooting in Texas.
Former Houston Astros MLB player Carlos Correa said Bad Bunny, along with fellow reggaeton artists Wisin and Yandel, made generous donations to help purchase a new home for Zamora, a 10-year-old Robb Elementary student and survivor.
Correa and his Correa Family Foundation have supported the effort to help Zamora and her family. Zamora was the Correa Family Foundation's Hero of the Month, a person the foundation selects every month.
She was the foundation's August Hero of the Month for her incredible courage and bravery. TokenSociety.io co-founders James and Korrine Whipkey, Scott Weissman, and Allen Lu also provided substantial donations to help Zamora and her family fund alternative lodging.

The Puerto Rican superstar also had Mayah Nicole Zamora and her family at his Dallas, Texas concert at the AT&T Stadium last September 9. The girl was treated to a VIP backstage experience.
In a post shared by the Correa Family Foundation, Zamora got to pose with Bad Bunny before his concert. Not only did she have a photo with the "Un Verano Sin Ti" artist, but she also got a signed shirt from him.

Mayah and her family wanted to move after discovering they lived only a few blocks from the Robb Elementary shooter.

E! News reported that Bad Bunny also provided Zamora and her family a suite and dinner before the show.
"A huge thank you to @badbunnypr for welcoming our Hero of the Month, Mayah Zamora, to your concert and for making sure she had a beautiful and fun night dancing with her family! All the love she received from you and your team @noahassad @rimas Chejuan Torres who made this an incredible experience she and her family will cherish," the foundation wrote on Instagram.
Last month, Zamora threw the first pitch in the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins baseball game and got to pose with Correa before the game started, according to Variety.

Who Is Mayah Nicole Zamora?
Mayah Nicole Zamora is one of the survivors of the tragic shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde County on May 24. The girl was critically wounded during the shooting.
Zamora reportedly had to undergo 20 surgeries to treat her injuries and was forced to stay in the hospital for 66 days. She had gunshot wounds in her hands, back, arms, and chest.
After learning that the 18-year-old suspect, Salvador Ramos, lived a few blocks away from Zamora's residence, her family prioritized moving into another home to help Mayah recover better.
Considered the third deadliest shooting incident in the U.S., the Robb Elementary School shooting claimed the lives of 21 people, including 19 children between about five and 12 years old, predominantly Latinos, and two teachers.
