The power couple of Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady may be heading for divorce. Sources say that Bundchen has already hired a divorce lawyer, which more than confirms that their marriage is on the rocks.

People magazine first reported the Brazilian fashion icon hiring a divorce lawyer. However, according to CNN, Tom Brady has also hired one. CNN also reported that the two have been living separately for weeks already.

Are Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Really Heading for a Divorce?

This may not be the end, however, as the reports are saying that while both have hired their own divorce lawyers, they are merely "exploring their options," according to a source close to the couple.

However, the two have not been seeing eye to eye for weeks now and may have been arguing for far longer, as the rift began when the seven-time Super Bowl champion decided to unretire and return to playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While Gisele herself has shown support for her husband and his team, even telling Elle Magazine in a previous interview that she supports his decision but with reservations, it seems that the two have not managed to put their difference aside as of yet. She told the magazine that her husband is already an older player and that football is such a violent sport and she is concerned for his health and safety.

Following what had been called by media outlets an "Epic Fight" between the two of them, the Brazilian supermodel stormed off their Tampa home and flew to her family's home in Costa Rica. However, she soon returned to spend some time with their kids.

As for Brady, he took an uncharacteristic 11-day break from training camp for "personal matters." He spent the time with family, as well as visited his eldest son in New York for his football training camp. He had not talked about his relationship matter in his podcast yet.

For now, it is still unclear whether the two are really heading for divorce or are just exploring their options.

What Might Happen Should They Divorce?

If they ever decide to divorce, the ones most affected will be their children, son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, as well as Tom Brady's son with ex Bridget Moynahan, Jack, 15. Gisele and Tom have been known to be doting parents, with Gisele even caring for and loving Jack like he was her own.

As for their assets, Page Six reported that they are likely filing for divorce in Florida and may divide their assets which include a $26 million property portfolio. This includes their latest purchase together, a $17 million home on Indian Creek Island in Miami, nicknamed "Billionaires Bunker."
