Ohio Woman Stomped, Slammed Her 4-Month-Old Baby Daughter to Kill Her
An Ohio woman was charged with murder after she allegedly killed her four-month-old daughter by stomping on her or slamming her.
According to Crime Online, Rebecca King, 37, called 911 at around 4:30 a.m. on October 8 to report that her infant daughter, Lily Johnson, was not breathing. The baby died, and investigators concluded that Johnson was either stomped or slammed.
Ashley Brooks, King's sister, told WKRC that her sister said her baby had a skull fracture from her doing CPR. Brooks said she thought that it was "not possible."
Investigators reportedly noted that the infant died of blunt force trauma that was purposely caused by her mother. Fox 19 reported that a Hamilton County Judge set the bond for the Ohio woman at $100,000.

Ohio Woman Stomping Infant Daughter to Death
Neighbor Jessica Monjar told WKRC of hearing loud music that day and a sound like someone knocking down the door.
Monjar, who was reportedly present when paramedics responded to King's home in Norwood, said that was when Rebecca King said her baby was not breathing and asked the neighbor to let paramedics in.
Monjar noted that she will never be able to get that image of that baby out of her mind, adding that the child's life was gone.
Reports said a funeral for the infant is planned for later in the week, and a GoFundMe account was set up by one of Lily Johnson's relatives to raise money for her memorial service.
The Ohio woman was charged with the murder of her daughter on Friday, and she was scheduled to be back in court on November 7.
Reports said King also has an open domestic violence case involving her 19-year-old son. However, the specifics of the case were not released publicly.
Ohio Woman's Sister on Death of the Infant
Ashley Brooks told WKRC that she talked to her sister later that morning. She noted that she instantly knew that something was very wrong.
Brooks attended her sister's bond hearing on Saturday. Brooks noted that she does not have any love for Rebecca King at this point.
King's sister added that the suspect took her niece away from her. Brooks said her daughter and Lily Johnson were only four months apart and that the two infant girls "were supposed to grow up together."
Monjar also had something to say regarding the baby's death. She admitted that she had some guilt in her mind.
The neighbor noted that if only she had been that nosey when the Ohio woman turned on that music, she would have called and made a complaint, and the outcome might have been different for the baby.
Johnson's "Celebration of Life" will reportedly take place at Tredway-Pollitt-Staver Funeral Home on November 4.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, around 3,500 to 4,000 children witness fatal family violence each year in the United States.
