Social Security Payments Schedule 2023
Benefits are paid depending on recipients' birth dates. For instance, if your birthday is between the 1st and 10th, the benefits will be paid on the second Wednesday of the month.
On the other hand, those with birthdays falling on the 11th and 20th will receive their benefits on the third Wednesday. The fourth Wednesday is the designated schedule for beneficiaries, with birth dates on the 21st and 31st.
That would mean that for January 2023, based on the birthdays falling on the date mentioned, the first recipients will have their first Social Security payments on January 11.
The third Wednesday in January will be on January 18, and the fourth Wednesday is on January 25. For February, the payment schedule will be on the 8, 15, and 22. For the month of March, it will also follow the same date for the distribution of benefits, which will be on the 8, 15, and 22.
If you are receiving both Social Security and SSI, the Social Security will be paid on the 3rd of the month and SSI on the 1st. The same schedule applies to those receiving Social Security before May 1997.
There may be an exception to the payment date if you live in a foreign country and Medicare is paid for by the state where you reside.
Meanwhile, your SSDI payments in 2023 will come on the same day of the month as your 2022 payments. For example, if you are receiving your payments on the third Wednesday of the month, they will still come on the third Wednesday of the month in 2023.
SSI Payments and SSDI Payments
