Texas: Rob Gronkowski Sparks Outrage After Calling Cowboys ‘Pretenders’
Football legend Rob Gronkowski seems to have gotten Dallas Cowboys fans in Texas angry with him for calling their favorite team "pretenders" during an appearance on FOX NFL Sunday.
Several experts are saying that the Dallas Cowboys are legitimate contenders to go to the Super Bowl this year. However, Gronkowski did not think so, and he made his opinions known during the show.

Gronkowski noted that he thinks the Minnesota Vikings are a better team than the Cowboys this year, saying, "They have a better record than the Dallas Cowboys! And are the Cowboys contenders or pretenders? History states that they are pretenders!"
And this comment of the Superbowl winner, former New England Patriot, and Tampa Bay Buccaneer have set Cowboys fans off.

A fan also pointed out that Gronk may not be as great as he is if he was not on the same team as Tom Brady, as the pair won multiple Super Bowl rings together in both teams.
And we don’t believe in him WITHOUT BRADY…

Does he even believe in him without Brady? Lol🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/6jPxkkuMRh
The Spun reported that Gronkowski may have been on point, though, as the last place Houston, Texas exposed some holes in the Cowboys as they led them going into halftime. The Cowboys still won, but it was a close game against what many consider the weakest team in the NFL.
Is Rob Gronkowski Coming Out of Retirement Again?
Rob Gronkowski retired for the second time earlier this season, but many were rolling their eyes and predicting that like Tom Brady, he will also be returning.
According to The Mirror, Gronk was recently seen on a football field again, but not doing his usual running and catching practices, but lining up field goals. It was reported that he did not look good doing it, but he did manage to hit a field goal at least once.
Gronk was reportedly watching a children's game at Camping World Stadium and joined the kids in playing, even joining a huddle.
While Gronk had said he wanted to stay retired to pursue business, his appearance on a football field and playing with some kids was enough to spark some rumors about him coming out of retirement once again.
