Tom Brady's life and career have undergone significant shifts this year, and the NFL quarterback is now preparing for another transition: Spending Christmas after the divorce.

In a recent episode of the "Let's Go!" podcast, the 45-year-old shared his strategy for tackling the slew of Christmas firsts, Yahoo reported.

"It'll be a new experience that I've never had before that I'm gonna learn how to deal with," Brady said.

This will be Brady's first Christmas following his split from his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. After 13 years of marriage, the couple finalized their divorced in October. They made the announcement after months of speculation following Brady's retirement reversal last August.

Tom Brady Faces Arizona Cardinals on Christmas Day While Gisele Bundchen and Kids Are in Brazil

In preparation for a Christmas Day football game against the Arizona Cardinals, Tom Brady's Christmas Eve will be spent in a hotel in Arizona.

"I think that's what life's about," he said on his podcast.

According to E! News, Brady noted that he would have to learn how to spend "Christmas Eve in a hotel," to "learn how to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a professional, and then look forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the day after."

Brady reportedly cannot complain too much about having to play on holidays since he knows it is part of the NFL schedule and knows everyone faces difficulties in the workplace.

Gisele Bundchen is taking their two children on a memorable vacation to the sun before Christmas. In an Instagram post from Brazil, the Brazilian supermodel said she was "recharging with my little ones in the country of my [heart emoji]."

The tropical vacation came roughly two months after the Bundchen and Brady divorce. The model also shared a collection of photos in which she meditates, watches the sunset, eats some traditional Brazilian food, and hangs out with her son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.

Tom Brady Spends More Time With Kids After Their Divorce

Tom Brady has spent plenty of time with his kids after his divorce, the Independent reported. In October, Brady told reporters that he kept himself anonymous in a Halloween costume and tried to be "somewhat unnoticed" while trick-or-treating with his kids.

He said on his SiriusXM podcast that they got a huge night scheduled ahead, making it a "fun night." He noted that their block is a very accessible area, so Halloween celebrations there are "pretty intense." It is reportedly a festive night that excites the kids as it will be fun for them.

Brady also said he tried to remain somewhat unnoticed that night so the kids could enjoy themselves. He noted that it would be better if he looked like just another dad in a cool costume on the street.

"I just want to be that for my kids. You know, I just wanna be the best dad I could be," Tom Brady said.
