WWE COO Triple H, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins kicked off Friday Night Smackdown discussing Sunday's Money In The Bank (MITB) matches that will involve Rollins -- fighting for a contract for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship title match -- and "The Viper," who is one of the participants in the main event for the coveted WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Triple H announces that Dean Ambrose will face off against Intercontinental Champion "Bad News" Wade Barrett later in the night.

Dean Ambrose defeated Intercontinental Champion "Bad News" Barrett in a non-title match after hitting Barrett with his Dirty Deeds finisher. After the match, Swagger came out and attacked Barrett. Ambrose laid out Swagger with a ladder before Seth Rollins came out from the crowd, knocked Ambrose off the steps and hit him with a Curb Stomp. Barrett appeared to be hurt after the bout was over.

WWE Divas Champion Paige defeated Cameron of the Funkadactyls in a non-title match. Cameron attempted to pick a fight with the rookie champion.

Bray Wyatt lost to United States Champion Sheamus after Erick Rowan and Luke Harper interfered in the match while Sheamus had Wyatt trapped in his Cloverleaf submission finisher. The Usos, who defend their Tag Team Championship against Rowan and Harper at MITB, came out to make the save for Sheamus.

Antonio Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio came out victorious over Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam in a tag team match, after Del Rio forced RVD to tap out after clamping the Cross Armbreaker on Van Dam's arm. After the bout, Cesaro attacked ADR, whom he will be facing in a Money In The Bank match this Sunday.

Alexander Rusev defeated Sin Cara with The Accolade. Big E Langston came out to the ring and confronted Rusev about his sneak-attack on "Monday Night Raw." Lana called Rusev away only to attempt to ambush the former Intercontinental champion, who repelled the attack, knocking Rusev out of the ring.

Kane lost to Roman Reigns after Randy Orton interfered in the match, triggering a disqualification. Reigns attempted to Spear Kane, but nailed Orton instead. Orton climbed the ladder and posed with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belts. Orton then attempted to Punt Kick Reigns, but Reigns recovered and Speared both "the Apex Predator" and "the Big Red Monster," taking them out before posing with the belts to end the show.
