A spokesperson said on Sunday that Jeremy Renner, injured over the weekend in a snow plowing accident, is in critical but stable condition.

"We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today," a spokesperson for the "Hawkeye" star told the Hollywood Reporter late Sunday night.

The spokesperson also said that Renner's family is with him, giving him excellent care.

Reports said that Renner was airlifted to the hospital.

The 51-year-old actor has received two Oscar nominations for his parts in "The Hurt Locker and The Town."

He is well-known for his roles in the "Mission: Impossible" film series and as Marvel superhero Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Guardian noted that up in the Sierra Nevada mountains, near Lake Tahoe, is where Renner keeps his ranch, the area where a New Year's Eve snowstorm knocked out power to 35,000 homes.

At least sixty people have died across the United States during the past week due to the "blizzard of the century."

Renner tweeted a picture of snow at Lake Tahoe on December 13 with the caption, "Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke."

Jeremy Renner's Movies and Shows

Renner will return for Season 2 of "Mayor of Kingstown" on Paramount+ on January 15 in addition to his MCU appearances, said IndieWire.

Following their collaboration on the 2017 film "Wind River," which also inspired a sequel, Renner and the Paramount showrunner continued their working relationship on the Taylor Sheridan-created series.

The sequel, titled "Wind River: The Next Chapter," will be directed by "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" director Kari Skogland, starring Martin Sensmeier, who will be playing the same role in the first movie.

The movie is made by Castle Rock Entertainment, a company founded by Rob Reiner.

A sequel is officially set to begin filming in January 2023, and it will continue the story of a string of ceremonial killings on the Wind River reserve.

The series tells the story when Tracker Chip Hanson (Sensmeier), being recruited by the FBI to apprehend the serial killer.

Meanwhile, it is being said that Renner will play Hawkeye again in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe film, "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty."

"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" writer Jeff Loveness is behind the story, while "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" director Destin Daniel Cretton is set to direct.

The fifth "Avengers" film is scheduled for release in 2025, and it will be followed by "Avengers: Secret Wars," which will wrap off Marvel's Phase 6.

Jeremy Renner Reveals He Injured Both His Arms While Filming "Tag"

While filming a stunt for his movie "Tag" in 2017, Jeremy Renner said that an accident fractured both arms.

"I'm a problem solver, you know. There will be an effect to it, but it won't stop me from doing things that I need to be doing," Renner said, "I'll heal fast. I'm doing everything I can to heal faster."

His Hawkeye movements were "a bit more painful" by the time of the TV series, he joked, USA Today noted.

"I'm 50 and in tights. I make that (stuff) look good," he joked in 2021. "It's a blessing, man. I take the job seriously, but never lose sight of how much fun I'm having."
