Rolling Stone Top 200 Singers lists did not include Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Janet Jackson, and other notable singers.

Rolling Stone Top 200 has been released with its updated list of the greatest singers of all time, with readers instantly noticing a glaring omission: Celine Dion.

From Sinatra to Selena to SZA, church singers to punk rockers, smooth operators to raw shouters, and more, these are the 200 greatest singers of all time who have impacted history and defined our lives, as described by the editors of Rolling Stone in a feature published on Sunday.

Among the artists on the list were Billie Eilish (ranked No. 198), Taylor Swift (No. 102), and Bruce Springsteen (No. 77), according to Fox News.

However, followers noticed that the Canadian performer needed to be in the top 10.

Celine Dion Fans Outraged After Rolling Stone's Snub

Twitter was full of music fans debating the rankings and who was rejected, said USA Today.

"Like how the actual f is she NOT in the list!!? Like what were they smoking when making this list! This is an insult to music!" one Twitter user wrote.

Another fan said that the Rolling Stone Top 200 disrespects the artists that can sing.

Other commenters criticized the magazine for excluding certain performers from the list and asked why Dion was omitted while Taylor Swift was there.

"They got THE @MichaelJackson way down at EIGHTY-SIX?! and no @CelineDion at ALL?!" actress Yvette Nicole Brown tweeted. She added that if Celine Dion is not in the top ten, they might as well stop doing that now.

Another Twitter user said, "Rolling Stone Magazine proved to be not credible."

"Rolling Stone but Taylor Swift in the top 200 vocalists but didn't even mention Celine Dion or Janet Jackson. And they put Rihanna ABOVE Kelly Clarkson ?????," said another fan.

Celine Dion has yet to respond to the list, although she just posted a video showcasing performances of "My Heart Will Go On" from across her career.

Early last month, the 54-year-old singer said on Instagram that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a neurological illness that "affects something like one in a million people."

Who Else Were Snubbed From Rolling Stone's 200 Greatest Singers List?

Buzzfeed News noted that singers including Pink, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Andrea Bocelli, Janet Jackson, Cher, Madonna, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Tony Bennett, and others were left off Rolling Stone Top 200 along with Celine Dion.

The authors at Rolling Stone saw the reaction coming and decided to defend them ahead of time.

Rolling Stone says their new list was developed by their team and key contributors, including 100 years of pop music as an ongoing worldwide conversation.

"The decisions were based on "originality, influence, the depth of an artist's catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy," said the music magazine.

"Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices List," they said, explaining that "talent is impressive; genius is transcendent."
