Logan Paul Accused of Scamming Fans With CryptoZoo, Threatens YouTuber Coffeezilla Who Investigated Him
Notable YouTube journalist Coffeezilla has released a three-part YouTube series that took a closer look into Logan Paul and his NFT game called "Crypto Zoo." There, the YouTuber revealed that the YouTuber-turned-boxer/pro wrestler/crypto guru may have scammed people.
"Crypto Zoo" was supposed to be a play-2-earn game that Paul developed with other individuals. However, according to Coffeezilla's investigation, Paul and his associates simply copied a code from FlokiShibX and claimed it as their own original game.
In addition, the investigative YouTube journalist also interviewed several people who bought into the alleged play-2-earn game, thinking it would net them some money. They invested huge cash into the project, but it never even manifested. They tried reaching out to Paul via their Discord server, but he never showed up.
Paul has promised on his podcast that CryptoZoo is "a really fun game that makes you money." However, that did not happen, as DeCrypt pointed out that it has plummeted roughly 89% in the past year. In addition, neither the CryptoZoo blog, its Instagram page, nor its Twitter page has not published any new post since May 2022, prompting many to believe Paul has already abandoned the project.
Logan Paul May Have Hired Criminals and Scammers for 'CryptoZoo'
Coffeezilla's investigation into Paul's NFT scheme deepened when he exposed that the lead developer Logan Paul hired to work on the project is a notable scammer who managed to trick the owner of the New York Yankees into believing that he helped the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl.

Eddie Ibanez, who served as the lead developer for the so-called play-2-earn game, reportedly told Paul that he was an MIT graduate who was hired by the CIA. He also told the YouTuber/boxer the same lie that he told the owner of the Yankees and that he helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl.
In a response video, Paul admitted that he had been scammed by Ibanez, saying he did not know he was a scammer. However, several other famous YouTubers, like popular streamers Ludwig and Moistcr1tikal, have pointed out that he should have run some background checks on him first and not taken what Ibanez told him at face value.
Logan Paul Threatens to Sue Coffeezilla Over Investigative Video Series
In his response video to the allegations, Logan Paul denied everything and said that the investigative journalist did not reach out to him. However, Coffeezilla pointed out that he tried, even pointing out his conversation with Paul's own manager about trying to talk to him about the allegations.
Paul then stated that he will sue the journalist, whose real name is Stephen Findeisen, for defamation. He then doubled down on CryptoZoo, promising that it will be released.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer added that Coffeezilla just used his name for clicks and accused him of illegally posting his call with Paul's manager.
