Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger’s Home Found With Human Hairs, Glove, and Possibly Blood-Stained Fabric
The search warrant used to retrieve evidence from the home and office of Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger was unsealed by a Washington state court, along with other documents, on Wednesday.
According to the search warrant, investigators confiscated "nine possible hair strands" and "one possible animal hair strand" from Kohberger's home, WKRG News 5 reported.
Law enforcement officials also got a "one nitrite type black glove" and a "computer tower" from the accused's apartment. Two cuttings from an uncased pillow with a "reddish/brown stain" and other evidence, including possible blood stains that were sent to a lab for testing, were also confiscated.
The New York Post reported that authorities also found "data compilations" of victims' information and shoes with diamond-pattern soles, which matched footprints found at the crime scene.
However, investigators did not get anything noteworthy in Kohberger's office at Washington State University, where he was a teaching assistant and graduate student pursuing criminology. The search warrant detailed that law enforcement officials failed to seize any weapon from the Idaho murder suspect's apartment.
Moscow Police Sgt. Dustin Baker noted in the application for the search warrant that investigators were looking for several kinds of possible evidence, including images of the stabbing victims, their home, or any information that would indicate planning murders or violence. Detectives were also looking for dark clothing, knives, and anything with DNA.

Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger
Experts believed that Bryan Kohberger may have left behind a "calling card" to show that he was at the crime scene, adding that the brutality of the killings implied that he had killed before, the New York Post reported.
During Friday's "Dr. Phil" special, experts claimed Kohberger may have intentionally left the empty knife sheath in the room where college students Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen were killed on November 13.
Former Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Jonathan Gilliam said that he believes investigators will find the knife as it was "part of his operational tools."
Trial attorney Mercedes Colwin agreed that the knife will eventually be found and said the sheath might have been left intentionally at the crime scene as it "is something that could have just been a calling card and left it there" if "he, in fact, is the killer."
"It could be, I mean it's almost as if... and we've seen this with other killers, it's their calling card, 'I got this,'" Colwin noted. Gilliam then went on to say that Kohberger may have killed before in the same fashion. He noted that he thinks the Idaho murder suspect may have stalked and potentially killed women before.
Bryan Kohberger was arrested on December 30 after seven weeks of a nationwide manhunt for the killer who stabbed four college students to death inside their shared house. However, the suspect's motive and the link between Kohberger and the victims have not yet been established.
Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger Messaging One of the Victims
An investigator familiar with the case told PEOPLE that Bryan Kohberger sent a series of messages to one of the victims on Instagram. The source noted that the female victim did not respond when Kohberger first messaged her in late October, but it did not dissuade him from sending several more messages to her.
The insider said that Kohberger repeatedly messaged the girl, basically saying, "Hey, how are you?" One of the surviving roommates noted that she saw the killer "clad in black clothing and a mask."
The case affidavit detailed that Kohberger was linked to the case after his DNA was found at the crime scene and his cell phone pinging near the locations of the victims. Bryan Kohberger was charged with four counts of murder and one count of felony burglary.
