Rihanna's Childhood Home
We cannot talk about Barbados without talking about Rihanna, who many consider a Barbados royalty. The Barbadian singer and actress is so popular back home that they even turned the house she grew up in into a tourist spot.
According to the official Barbados tourism website, Robyn Rihanna Fenty grew up in a close-knit neighborhood in a tiny village on the outskirts of the capital Bridgetown.
This is the house where she sang Whitney Houston songs and dreamed of making it big. Now, she's a global icon, and her home country will remind you how proud they are of her, even naming her a national hero.

Flower Forest
This park is 53 acres of colorful flowering plants and trees that are always in full bloom. Visitors can sit down, relax, and have beautiful views of the Barbados hillsides and the ocean.

Located just 10 minutes from Bridgetown, St. Lawrence Gap is a colorful 1.3-kilometer section of the street known for its restaurants and shops, according to Planet Ware. It also has options for seaside dining and more casual eating.
Barbados Wildlife Reserve
For animal lovers, they can see monkeys, deer, tortoises, and iguanas at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. It is famous for the island's green monkeys and other residents like parrots, caiman, maras, and snakes.
Many of these animals roam freely around the nature reserve, but always remember that many of them may bite. Those visiting the park around 2 p.m. can watch the animals get fed. Visitors can also get up-close encounters with some animals.
Mount Gay Distilleries
Barbados has had a legacy of producing sugar cane. With sugar cane also comes one of its most famous products, rum, and this would be a good place for rum connoisseurs to visit as it looks at the island's extensive history of rum production.
Visitors can sample the distillery's various rum products, with the entrance fee starting at just $20. Lonely Planet reported that transportation from the hotels to the distillery is free.
