Mexico: Rescue Dogs Sent to Help After Turkey-Syria Earthquake
Turkey just suffered a massive earthquake that has already killed thousands of people. However, help is on its way, as Mexico is sending its famous search and rescue dogs to help in the rescue efforts as people are still stuck in the rubble.
According to Lad Bible, these famous rescue dogs have already flown to Turkey and Syria to locate those still trapped under the rubble during that massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake in the Middle East.
Mexico sent 16 of these specialist canines and their respective handlers with their iconic rescue goggles and booties on hand. Mexico's Foreign Affairs Secretary Marcelo Ebrard then released a statement to the people of Turkey, saying, "The heart of our rescue team is currently flying to Turkey."
Mexico also sent search and rescue specialists from the Mexican Army and the Mexican Navy, along with five foreign ministry officials and 15 members of the Red Cross.
In addition to the military aid, Mexico is also sending the civilian search and rescue group Los Topos de Tlatelolco (The Moles of Tlatelolco). The group had reached out to Foreign Affairs Secretary Marcelo Ebrard and offered their help in the search and rescue efforts.
