Ice-T's grandson Elyjah Marrow has been arrested for allegedly murdering his roommate on June 26.

According to TMZ, police said that the 19-year-old accidentally shot and fatally wounded his friend 19-year-old at their Georgia apartment.

Marrow was reportedly fiddling with a handgun when it accidentally went off. As a result, the West Coast rap pioneer's grandson was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and reckless conduct. He was also slapped with charges for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and possession of a stolen firearm.

Marrow, who has appeared on his grandfather's reality show, "Ice Loves Coco," is currently being held at Cobb County Jail

Ice-T, a vocal pro-gun rights advocate, has yet to comment on the situation.

When asked about gun control after the 2012 movie theater shooting in a Aurora, Colorado, the hip-hop vet said, "I'll give up my gun when everybody else does. ... If there were guns here, would you want to be the only one without one?," reported the New York Post.

Earlier this month, rapper Chief Keef was removed from his rented mansion in Highland Park because he failed to pay rent for four months. The Chicago Tribune reported that the 18-year-old artist owed $30,000 in back payments.

After receiving his walking papers, Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, seemed to downplay the eviction by posting a video on Instagram where he is walking through the home, and a caption where he brags that he was "lookin' for houses."

The owner of the house, Bal Bansal, told the Tribune that he didn't have any problems with Keef as a tenant and his departure was voluntary. However, police confirmed it was an eviction.

According to court records, Cozart had been about $30,000 behind in rent payments as of March. Although he reached an agreement to catch up by April 20, he recieved a final eviction order that was filed May 7.

Last year, he narrated the documentary "Assaulted: Civil Rights Under Fire."
