Tom Sandoval's cheating scandal has recent developments with Raquel Leviss breaking her silence about allegations that she had a months-long affair with the actor while he was in a relationship with Ariana Madix.

Leviss released an exclusive statement to ET Online, saying she wants to apologize for her actions and choices, especially to Madix.

The "Vanderpump Rules" actress also noted that there is no excuse for what she did and that she is "not a victim and must own" her actions. She also mentioned that she "deeply regrets" hurting Madix.

She said she has started counseling to end her "unhealthy behavioral cycle" while also learning "to set stronger emotional boundaries."

Leviss released the statement after sending legal letters to Sandoval and other "Vanderpump Rules" castmates regarding the situation.

Sandoval and Madix had been in a relationship since 2013 but broke up recently after the cheating incident.

Sources noted that the cheating has been going on for around six months or more.

Tom Sandoval Cheating Scandal

A source told PEOPLE that Sandoval's affair was discovered by the Season 2 "Vanderpump Rules" star in early March 2023.

The insider noted that the couple had been having problems for a while, but it was the "final straw."

The insider added that Madix had put up with a lot over the years but "won't sit back and be disrespected this way."

Fans were also quick to jump to speculations after pointing out that Sandoval and Leviss were wearing matching lightning bolt necklaces.

Leviss was seen wearing the necklace in October 2022 at BravoCon, while Sandoval was reported to have on the accessory in October 2022 at the House of Barrie opening.

Madix learned about the affair when she saw a video that was in sexual nature between Leviss and Sandoval on his phone, including a "history of inappropriate texts."

Another source said that Madix had been there for Leviss when she broke up with James Kennedy.

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix Relationship Timeline

Sandoval was an original cast member of "Vanderpump Rules" while Madix joined in the summer of 2013 for season 2.

In her debut episode, Sandoval referred to his now-ex-girlfriend as a friend and shared that they previously worked together, according to PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, another ex of Sandoval, Kristen Doute, accused him of cheating on her with Madix. The two had denied the allegations.

In February 2014, they made their relationship official on Instagram.

In December 2018, Madix revealed that she had cancer removed, which ultimately led her closer to Sandoval.

The following year Sandoval revealed to his friends that Madix and costar Lala Kent had done sexual acts in his car.

Meanwhile, Madix said that she felt betrayed by Sandoval and said that her sexuality "is not something that is meant to sound cool to a bunch of dudes."

The couple then bought their first house in February 2019 in Valley Village, California, which they gave a tour of in June 2021 after they were done decorating the space.
