Former NFL star Tom Brady is reportedly dating actress Reese Witherspoon. The news came out less than a week after Witherspoon and his husband of 12 years, Jim Toth,  announced their divorce on Instagram, She Finds reported.

On the other hand, Brady and Gisele Bundchen announced their divorce last October after more than 10 years of marriage.

The dating rumors started after an anonymous tipster sent an email to DeuxMoi Tuesday with the subject line "Epic and unexpected celeb couple," and the message read, "A-list actress who JUST announced her divorce is newly dating A-list NFL athlete who is also recently divorced."

The tipster's hilarious email address, legallyblonde[at]patriotsbuccaeers[dot]com, made it practically "impossible" not to identify the two stars.

Tom Brady Dating Reese Witherspoon Rumor Sparks Reaction Online

Given how quickly the two stars seem to be moving on, many fans are reportedly shocked by the news of the potential new couple, according to ClutchPoints.

However, the idea of Tom Brady and Reese Witherspoon getting together is already making waves in Hollywood, with some even calling them an unexpected power couple. 

Brady and Witherspoon have both been silent on the rumors, and it is unknown how they met or how serious their relationship is. Some reports claimed there were "zero sparks" between Witherspoon and Jim Toth for quite some time.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth's Divorce

Divorce papers were filed on March 24, just two days after Reese Witherspoon's birthday, ending months of speculation about their marital problems.

According to She Finds, the former couple got married in March 2011 and have a son named Tennessee, 10.

"It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together," read the joint statement, which was shared on the actress' Instagram account.

Insiders who know more about the couple's relationship said there was no "drama" surrounding the separation, and Witherspoon and Toth simply stopped having "romantic feelings" for each other, 

Witherspoon is also the mother of Ava, 23, and Deacon, 19, who she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The two were married from 1999 to 2006 and did not officially divorce until 2008.
