NBA Playoffs Conference: Lakers Vs. Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 1 of their second-round playoff series on Tuesday, with Anthony Davis coming through packed with the game.

Davis had 30 points, 23 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in 44, making him the fourth Lakers player to have at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, and five assists in a single playoff game.

Other Lakers players to have done the same include Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, and the last one before Davis, Shaquille O'Neal, as reported by Fox News.

Davis said that he was just "stealing home court" when asked why he wanted Game 1 to be a win for the Lakers.

The center and power forward said that no lead is safe with the Golden State Warriors, noting that they "could get hot at any moment."

Davis said that it was a confidence booster for him, knowing that they can win and beat the Golden State team.

NBA Playoffs

The Boston Celtics are the current betting favorites in 2023 NBA Playoffs Finals odds, as cited by Legal Sports Report.

Some of the teams favored to win the title are Boston Celtics and the 76ers. Sixers center Joel Embiid led his team to one of the best records in the game of the season. He was also named league MVP.

The last team for Eastern Conference most favored was the New York Knicks.

Meanwhile, Golden State Warriors were the most favored team to win in the Western Conference. The team is the defending champion and has been a bottom-five team in the NBA on the road this season.

Magic Johnson predicted that the game will result in "sky high" TV ratings, which was proven true after the Warriors snatched the first game from Los Angeles Lakers, according to Clutch Point.

At first, the game looked like it was going to come over time, but Jordan Poole's ball failed to save the team.

The game between the Lakers and Warriors ended 117-112, in favor of the Golden State team.
