Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado has introduced articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden for his handling of the US immigration crisis. However, the White House says this is just a stunt from the infamous MAGA congresswoman.

According to USA Today, she brought the articles of impeachment to the House floor as a privileged resolution to force a vote on the matter later this week. She claimed that the POTUS "acted in a manner grossly incompatible with the rule of law."

Boebert then took to social media and wrote, "The American people can no longer be subjected to a President who refuses to secure our borders," before adding that Biden is "not fit to remain as Commander in Chief."

However, as many have pointed out, while there is an influx of migrants along the US-Mexico border, the Biden administration has implemented strict policies that prevent people from easily entering the United States. He has greatly decreased the number of migrants from several countries, including Venezuela, with these policies.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams also took to social media to dismiss Boebert's actions as a political stunt, "Instead of working with @POTUS on the issues that matter most to Americans, like jobs and inflation and health care, extreme House Republicans are staging baseless political stunts that do nothing to help real people, just to try to get attention for themselves," he wrote.

Other Republicans Bash Lauren Boebert Over Joe Biden Impeachment, Call Her Actions 'Frivolous'

As Boebert targeted Joe Biden with impeachment, many in her own party criticized the move, with many other Republicans calling the impeachment "frivolous."

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy of California was one of the leading voices against the Biden impeachment, urging other Republicans to oppose the measure when the vote comes.

"I don't think it's the right thing to do," he said during a recent news conference. "This is one of the most serious things you can do as a member of Congress. I think you've got to go through the process. You've got to have the investigation." The California Republican then added, "And throwing something on the floor actually harms the investigation that we're doing right now."

Nebraska Republican Rep. Don Bacon also criticized Boebert on the move, saying, "If there's real facts for impeachment then you go there. But doing this is wrong, and I think the majority of the conference feels that way."

Bacon told The Hill, "Impeachment shouldn't be something that is frivolous," before adding, "We should get to the facts of that, but just doing a privileged motion is wrong."

Marjorie Taylor Greene Also Not Happy With Lauren Boebert Over Joe Biden Impeachment

Things also got heated between two of Joe Biden's biggest critics in Congress, Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene. The two MAGA Republicans reportedly got testy with one another, with Greene calling her supposed ally a "little b**ch" on the House floor, according to the Daily Beast.

Reports say that Boebert undercut Greene, who is also trying to impeach Biden but got beaten to it when Boebert forced a vote when she used her procedural advantages. The interaction between the two was even caught on camera and it was far from cordial.

Three sources confirmed to the Daily Beast that Greene did indeed call Boebert the "B" word during their confrontation.
