Renowned singer Michael Bolton, aged 70, revealed in a Facebook post on Friday that he has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, according to Deadline.
In his message, Bolton expressed gratitude for his medical team, stating that immediate surgery was required and that it was successful.
Currently recuperating at home, the Grammy-winning artist conveyed that he is surrounded by his family's immense love and support.
Acknowledging the impact on his fans, Bolton informed them that he would be taking the "next couple of months" to focus on his recovery, necessitating a temporary break from touring.
Despite the challenge, he assured his fans that he works diligently to expedite his recovery and return to the stage soon.
Bolton closed his note with appreciation for the positive messages from his fans and promised to provide updates as soon as possible.
