After saying Joe Biden is mentally unfit for office thanks to his gaffes, Donald Trump once again confused one political opponent for another. This time, Nikki Haley did not let that one slip as she blasted the ex-POTUS and questioned his mental fitness.

Trump has been saying that his top rival, President Joe Biden, is too old and mentally unfit for office, even though he is just three years younger. The ex-president recently had gaffs that would rival his successor, though, including claiming that he defeated Barack Obama in an election (he defeated Hillary Clinton, not Barack Obama in 2016, as Trump claimed), and blasted Jeb Bush's policies as president, even though Jeb Bush was never president, possibly confusing the former Florida governor for his brother, ex-President George W. Bush, another Trump critic.

His latest Gaffe is regarding January 6, claiming Haley was "in charge of security" at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. This claim, which has been debunked several times, was usually for then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to Vanity Fair.

"They're saying he got confused, that he was talking about something else, he's talking about Nancy Pelosi," said Nikki Haley while campaigning in Keen, New Hampshire. "The concern I have is - I'm not saying anything derogatory - but when you're dealing with the pressures of the presidency, we can't have someone else that we question whether they're mentally fit to do this."'

"My parents are up in age, and I love them dearly," she added. "But when you see them hit a certain age, there is a decline. That's a fact - ask any doctor, there is a decline."'

She continued by giving another example of Trump's declining mental fitness, saying, "He got confused and said he was running against Obama - he never ran against Obama!" Nikki Haley, who has been advocating for "new generational leadership," added, "Don't put our country at risk like this."

"He mentioned me multiple times in that scenario. The concern I have is - I'm not saying anything derogatory - but when you're dealing with the pressures of the presidency, we can't have someone else that we question whether they're mentally fit to do this," Haley blasted her former boss. "We can't."

What Did Donald Trump Claim About Nikki Haley?

Donald Trump claimed that Haley, who was not part of the Trump administration anymore at that time, offered security for the Capitol to Hailey and claimed, , "They destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it."

The absurd claim that was originally attributed to Pelosi was investigated by a special House committee empaneled to probe the January 6 Capitol Insurrection and it found no evidence of Trump's claims, prompting the former president to conveniently claim that the evidence had been deleted.

Former Donald Trump Lawyer Admits Ex-POTUS Might Land in Jail

Soon after leaving Donald Trump, attorney Joe Tacopina sat down with Rev. Al Sharpton on MSNBC Saturday and admitted that the former president's chances in his federal cases are bleak.

"The two federal cases are serious cases," the former Trump attorney said. "And I think they're they're not to be taken lightly."

This led Sharpton to ask Tacopina, "Is it possible Donald Trump could end up convicted of one of these cases in your mind?" To this, the lawyer answered, "Absolutely, You have a jury of 12 who's going to ultimately decide this."
