The Grammy winner and Billboard chart-topper is reportedly "furious" about these AI images, and she is now weighing possible legal action against the website that generated these fake images.

"Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided but there is one thing that is clear: these fake AI-generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative and done without Taylor's consent and/or knowledge," a source close to the singer reportedly said, according to The New York Post.

"Taylor's circle of family and friends are furious, as are her fans obviously. They have the right to be, and every woman should be," the source continued, noting that the account that originally posted the photos on X "does not exist anymore."

"The door needs to be shut on this. Legislation needs to be passed to prevent this, and laws must be enacted," the source continued.

Should Taylor Swift go forward with her lawsuit, she would join many others who have sued against the platforms that generated these fake images, such as Scarlett Johansson, whose lawyer previously stated. , "Per our usual course of action in these circumstances, we will deal with it with all legal remedies that we will have."

It remains to be seen whether the NFL's most high-profile fan would be pursuing her lawsuit. However, her reach and popularity may have an effect on the battle against "the darker aspects of AI."
