Donald Trump's losing streak in court cases continues, this time in the E. Jean Carroll rape case after a New York jury awarded her $83.3 million in damages in her lawsuit against the former president.

The New York jury was able to reach a quick verdict after just around three hours. This is now the second time Trump has lost to Carroll, with a different New York jury previously finding him liable for not just sexually assaulting the former Elle Magazine columnist but also for defaming her.

Previously, Trump was ordered to pay Carroll $5 million in her sexual assault and defamation verdict last year from another jury.

This means that Carroll has now raised $88.3 million in court case verdicts against the embattled former president. However, Trump and his attorney, Alina Habba, vowed to appeal.

After the verdict, the ex-POTUS was protesting vigorously, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, Carroll was all smiles and was hugging her attorneys as the 9-person jury delivered its verdict. However, she declined to comment as she left the New York courthouse.

The breakdown of the damages awarded to Carroll includes $7.3 million in compensatory damages outside of the reputation repair program, $11 million in compensatory damages for a reputation repair program only, and finally, $65 million in punitive damages.

Donald Trump Storms Out and Rants After Losing Case Against E. Jean Carroll

As for Donald Trump, he had been in a very foul mood during the trial, reportedly storming out while Carroll's attorneys were delivering their closing arguments. However, he came back to hear his lawyers deliver their closing arguments.

Soon after, he posted his reaction on Truth Social. This happened just a few minutes after the verdict was read, vowing to appeal, according to NBC News.

"Absolutely ridiculous!" he posted. "I fully disagree with both verdicts."

He blamed the Democrats for Carroll suing him for things he said on TV, adding, "Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon."

He then added, "They have taken away all First Amendment rights," before going all caps as he ended his post, saying, "THIS IS NOT AMERICA!"

In a separate post, he added, "There is no longer Justice in America. Our Judicial System is Broken and Unfair!" He was sued again by Carroll for disparaging comments he made during a CNN Town Hall shortly after losing the previous case last year.

Judge Tells Jurors Not To Tell Anybody They Were Part of the Donald Trump Rape Case

Given that it has already been established that Donald Trump supporters may act violently on behalf of their favorite politician, Judge Lewis Kaplan reportedly told the jurors not to talk about their roles in the trial, according to CNN.

The judge stated that they could not reveal the identity of the other jurors before telling them, "My advice to you is that you never disclose that you were on this jury, and I won't say anything more about it."
