Lionel Messi Reveals Music He Listens to, Including Bad Bunny, Karol G, and More, as MLS Season Begins
As the MLS season is about to begin, Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi has revealed what he is currently listening to in a playlist called "Messi: The Warm-Up," which was recently released by Apple Music. This gives us an insight into what the man many consider the "GOAT" of soccer is listening to as he warms up for his games.
"Music has always played a significant role in my life, especially on match days," the Argentinian said in his Apple Music playlist description. "Music calms my mind, helping me maintain composure and relaxation."
According to Billboard, his playlist includes songs from Latin music heavyweights, such as Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, Karol G, Bizarrap, Grupo Frontera, and many more.
It was noted that La Pulga is particularly a fan of Grupo Frontera, as his playlist includes several of the band's songs. These include "No Se Va," "un x100to" with Bad Bunny, "Bebe Dame" with Fuerza Regida, and "TULUM," which the group recorded with Peso Pluma.
"Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, "Ay Vamos" by J Balvin, and "Provenza" by Karol F. He also loves Mexican music, as his list features songs from Carin Leon. such as "Según Quién" with Maluma. He also loves "Tiki Taka Toco" and "Ella Baila Sola" by Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma.
Being Argentinian, "La Pulga" also listens to various Argentinian musicians, such as Bizarrap and Los Cafres. He also loves English language songs from Rihanna, U2, and Drake, as well as classic Latin songs from Selena and Celia Cruz.

Meanwhile, as Messi prepares for the new MLS season with Inter Miami, the World Cup winner is facing massive amounts of backlash in China after missing a friendly match against a local select team in Hong Kong.
Chinese cities canceled friendly matches for Messi's Argentina squad earlier this month, and this prompted La Pulga to finally address the situation.
"I've had a very close and special relationship with China and I've done a lot of things in China," he said in a video that explained his absence in the China game. He then added that he would like to see China again. However, according to CNN, this still received much backlash from Chinese netizens who stated that Messi was "not sincere at all."
Lionel Messi Seems to Have Recovered in Friendly With Childhood Team, Newell's Old Boys
As part of its preparations for the upcoming MLS season, Lionel Messi and Inter Miami have been facing off against various teams from all over the world. This included Argentina's Newell's Old Boys, the club Lionel Messi started his soccer journey with as a young boy.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Messi not scoring a goal against the club he started out with. However, the skirmish also showed that he now appears fully healthy, running hard and fast throughout the match. He was recently dealing with a hip adductor injury that started the controversy in Hong Kong.
