Matt Gaetz Pedophile Scandal: Witness Told House Ethics Committee Florida Republican Paid Her for Sex
Florida Republican Congressman, staunch Donald Trump ally, and accused pedophile Matt Gaetz may be in more hot water after a witness gave a devastating testimony to the House Ethics Committee, admitting that she was paid by the MAGA Republican to have sex with him.
Sources familiar with the investigation into Matt Gaetz's nefarious practices have told ABC News that the House Ethics Committee's investigators have conducted a string of interviews behind closed doors with numerous women who became witnesses to the DOJ investigation into Gaetz's sex trafficking practices.
At least half a dozen women who all attended parties that were also attended by Gaetz and his associate, Joel Greenberg, were interviewed, according to the sources, with several witnesses saying they were shown the Venmo payments from Gaetz, who they said paid them for sexual activities.
The sources added that the House Ethics Committee had to subpoena some of the witnesses while others cooperated. One of the women, whose identity was not revealed, told investigators that "a payment from Gaetz was for sex, while others have said they were paid to attend parties that Gaetz also attended."
These parties that Gaetz is paying the girls to attend, some of whom were minors at that time, featured drugs and sex. The House Ethics Committee recently expanded its investigation to Gaetz's pedophilia and sex trafficking to involve illicit drug use.
Earlier this year, the House Ethics Committee also subpoenaed the Justice Department for its records on its investigation into Gaetz. It also obtained Gaetz's Venmo records after issuing the company a subpoena. The DOJ investigation into Gaetz largely focused on his Venmo payments to the minors.
Former Gaetz associate Joel Greenberg previously admitted to "pay for commercial sex acts" with women along with Gaetz. While Greenberg has been brought to justice, Gaetz has not been yet.

What Did the House Ethics Committee Officially Say Regarding the Matt Gaetz Investigation?
Earlier this week, the House Ethics Committee provided an update on its investigation into Gaetz and revealed that it has already issued 25 subpoenas and reviewed thousands of documents. The committee announced that the bipartisan panel will continue to review allegations regarding the MAGA Republican accused of being a pedophile.
"The committee is reviewing allegations ... that Representative Gaetz may have: engaged in sexual misconduct and illicit drug use, accepted improper gifts, dispensed special privileges and favors to individuals with whom he had a personal relationship, and sought to obstruct government investigations of his conduct," said the committee's statement.
Matt Gaetz Continues To Claim He Did Nothing Wrong
Despite the investigation against him moving forward, Matt Gaetz continues to insist he did nothing wrong and suggested that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who retired from Congress year, was behind it all as it was Gaetz who was behind the former speaker being booted from office.
"Kevin McCarthy showed them the man, and they are now trying to find the crime. I work for Northwest Floridians who won't be swayed by this nonsense and McCarthy and his goons know it," said Gaetz.
McCarthy previously stated in an interview, "He was trying to get something illegally stopped," and added, "I think the Ethics Committee, it was purely Matt coming to me, trying [to get] me to do something illegal to stop the Ethics Committee from moving forward [with] an investigation that was started long before I became speaker."
