The second season of the popular Mexican reality show 'La Casa de los Famosos' has been a resounding success, even surpassing the audience numbers of its first edition. However, this wave of popularity has had a dark side.

Kirén Miret, executive producer of the show, has revealed that she has been the victim of threats through social media. Her phone number was leaked and she has received a lot of intimidating and violent messages from strangers ever since.

In a recent interview with W Radio's 'Así las Cosas' show, Miret expressed sadness and disappointment at the situation, emphasizing that she does not seek to victimize herself.

Despite the success of the show, the media exposure and the intensity of the dynamics within the house have generated a negative reaction in some viewers, who have directed their anger towards the producer.

"I am not a victim, I became a collateral event. My phone was leaked on social media. People took the liberty. I have received death threats that do not scare me, but it seems like an injustice. It is sad and worrying," said Miret.

One of the threatening messages Miret shared publicly shows the level of aggressiveness he has faced. The sender wishes her death and expresses deep hatred towards her. These types of messages reflect the toxic side that can emerge on social media and the emotional impact they can have on people involved in television programs.

"We have seen a tremendously violent phenomenon that is also part of this social experiment, I believe that this program was not conceptualized in this way because when this program was born there were no social networks," he added.

There is no doubt that Kirén Miret's story serves as a reminder of the negative consequences that fame and public exposure can have. Despite the success of 'La Casa de los Famosos', this case highlights the importance of addressing online harassment and protecting the safety of those involved in the production of television content.
