Jay Z and Beyonce Cheating Rumors: Mya Responds on Instagram
Rumors about Jay Z cheating on Beyonce have been the talk of the town in the celebrity world. However, Mya, with whom Jay Z has allegedly cheated, has strongly denied that any of the cheating accusations between them are even true.
If any cheating has really happened, it's not with her, the pop star said when asked about the gossip. She also posted on the social media platform Instagram, "never did, never was, never will," adding that "I play second to no one." The question was asked whether Mya was the 44-year-old Brooklyn rapper's "side chick."
Cheating rumors between Jay Z and Mya followed after an item was posted online, saying, "A very short named R&B singer" had shared a long-time relationship with the rapper. It also said that she had been living off of the rapper's generosity since she has not had a hit and she hasn't really recorded any song in a long while. The item also mentioned "a couple of other guys" with whom the R&B singer has had a relationship aside from Jay Z.
On the other side of things, Beyonce has been dealing with the issue both ways. She initially hinted that Jay Z may have cheated on her, but after that, she quickly tried to deflect the rumor by posting photos of their family on her website. The 32-year-old singer performed the song "Resentment" on Saturday's show during the On The Run tour, where she noticeably changed the song's lyrics about a woman who has been cheated on. Instead of the original lyrics that said "six years" Beyonce sang "been riding with you for 12 years," which is the amount of time she has been married to Jay Z. The 2006 song on infidelity and the obvious change in lyrics quickly prompted fans and other spectators to make speculations about the couple's marriage.
While Mya denies the cheating allegations, no other women Jay Z could have cheated with have been reported.
