Has a new, unlikely Hollywood couple emerged? Teen heartthrob Zac Efron, 26, and bad girl Michelle Rodriguez, 35, have been caught on camera making out and otherwise acting very couple-like during their joint vacation to Sardinia, Italy.

Along with Italian businessman Gianluca Vacchi and a few other friends, Efron and Rodriguez have been living it up on the island of Sardinia, an autonomous region of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea.

They spent a lot of the weeklong holiday on Vacchi's yacht. And gossip publications like the Daily Mail and Bonnie Fuller's Hollywood Life have gained access to funny, sweet and revealing photos of Efron and Rodriguez.

In one photo, Efron shows off his beach body; in another, Rodriguez shows her daredevil side by climbing up the mast of the yacht. Other photos show the "couple" hugging, lying down and soaking up the sun, and sipping on drinks.

For Efron, being gossiped about in the tabloids is nothing new. However, the fact that it looks like he's dating Michelle Rodriguez is shocking. That's because Efron's been subject to countless gay rumors since he came to prominence in Disney's "High School Musical" franchise. It shouldn't be anyone's business whether Efron is gay or not.

If this relationship is a front for Efron, he's giving an Academy Award-worthy performance. Just look at the pictures: He gets a little bit grabby with his supposed new beau.

Interestingly enough, Rodriguez has dealt with gay rumors of her own. She was linked to various women over the years before stepping out with model Cara Delevingne. The "Fast and Furious" star came out as bisexual in October when she told Entertainment Weekly, "Eh, they're not too far off [about assuming I'm a lesbian]" and "I've gone both ways."

Rodriguez suggested she's bicurious, saying, "I do as I please. I am too f***ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."

Rodriguez keeps it real and lives her life as she sees fit. Judging by the way she and Efron are living it up, it looks like her younger beau shares her fun-loving personality.
