'Mi Corazón Es Tuyo' Spoilers: Meet the Main Characters
"Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" premieres on July 21 on Univision. Silvia Navarro, Jorge Salinas and Mayrin Villanueva star in the series.
Here's what is in store for the first week.
Episode 1: In a modest house, Ana and her boyfriend Johnny and her best friend Jennifer have thrown a housewarming party. In the Lascurain mansion, seven siblings are punished by their father Fernando for making another nanny quit. Fernando promises to find a better nanny, but one of his daughters, Fanny, says that no one can replace their mother.
It's pouring in the city, and Ana and Jennifer take a bus, where Jennifer ends up in trouble since the bus is stuck. Her friends bravely saves her. When they return home, they see their home has caught fire because of an electrical short. They have lost everything and are forced to sign a contract with their boss, who owns the Chicago nightclub, in exchange for a loan.
Fernando and Bruno talk, and he is reminded that his children have had 10 nannies in a month. He is saddened because his youngest Luz has not spoken in more than a year.
Ana discovers her that her boyfriend is cheating on her. She slaps him, and he tells her that he is only working on casting. She believes him, but tells him that she would start a family with him. But he is not on the same page. Isabela Vazquez de Castro gets ready for her interview with Fernando. She has studied him very closely.
Episode 2: Ana knows she needs to find another job, but Johnny tells her that she doesn't know how to do anything else but dance. After a mix-up at a temp agency, Ana arrives at the Lascurain home. When she gets there, she believes she is being offered an illegal job, and she is upset.
Ana is warned that most nannies are only there for a week, and Fernando enters the room without her knowledge. She accidentally hits him in the nose and makes him bleed. Fernando hires her after feeling a connection to her, but Fanny immediately tells her that she and her siblings are going to make her life difficult. She tries to get the children to do their homework, but they are too busy playing pranks on her.
Later, Fanny blames her for not being able to do her homework. Fernando is upset, and Ana tries to explain her side of the story but not in the nicest terms.
Episode 3: The siblings decide to put itching powder in Ana's bed. She begins to feel itchy, and the twins have left a camera to record her actions. She chases after them but trips and ends up in the hospital. They apologize, and Sebastian starts getting closer to her. He tells her that he wants to dance hip-hop.
Ana tells Luz a story and tells her she hopes she speaks soon. Isabela goes to Lascurain home and pictures herself as Fernando's future wife. Ana accidentally spills tea on her.
Johnny arrives and Fanny overhears that Ana dances at Chicago. She threatens to tell her dad, but she decides to leave rather than to break the children's heart about her other life.
Luz wakes up in the middle of night and finds she has left. She starts talking and yelling while she looks for her. Fanny decides to hide Ana's secret because of what she has done for her sister.
Episode 4: Ana returns to Chicago because she has to pay off her debt to Doroteo. When she returns, Fernando questions why she is dressed so weirdly. She said that dressing up helps her lift her spirits. Ana tells Sebastian that she also has dreams of being a dancer. She also promises the twins that she will help them with their English homework.
Nando is bullied at school because he has no one to go to the party with. Ana pretends to be his girlfriend, which surprises everyone.
Ana argued with Fernando and tells him that his children have problems but that he is too busy to notice them. She quits, but Fernando asks her to stay because of Luz. Fanny reveals that Ana is Nando's nanny and not his girlfriend, which makes Nando very upset at Ana.
Episode 5: Doroteo lets Ana know that if she doesn't hold up her side of the deal, her life will be in jeopardy. Fanny comes home the next morning, and Ana chastises her. But Fanny maintains that she is a woman in more than one way. On Sunday, she tells the children that even though it is Sunday, they are to behave as it is Monday.
Meanwhile, Isabela continues to try to get Fernando's attention. Fanny asks Ana about help with guys, which is when Ana realizes that Fanny lied to her.
