Recent reports say that in several months, a brand new Apple retail store will rise high in Tokyo, Japan.

According to a Bloomberg report, it is in the Omotesando shopping district that Apple will build its first store in the city since 2005. The development of the outlet comes at a time when Japan's economy is steadily recovering from the devastations caused by the recent earthquakes in the country.

This will be Apple's third store in Tokyo and will feature three levels. According to AllTHingsD, the store will measure over 20,000 sq. ft. Signs of Jun Mitsui & Associates are also all over the construction site which indicate that the renowned architecture firm could be working on the store's design. The same firm was behind the design of the New Haneda Airport International Terminal and the De Beers Ginza Building.

"Apple wants the best real estate they can get," Seth Sulkin, representative director for real estate and asset manager Pacifica Capital KK, told Bloomberg. "They are particular about size and shape. If they have to wait to get the real estate, they would."

Apparently, the new Apple store is hinting on the company's aim to increase sales within Japan. Reports note that while the country has taken a strong financial hit after several tragedies, it still remains as one of the biggest sources of revenue for Apple.

With the global debut of Apple's new set of smartphones rumored for September, greater sales are predicted to happen for Apple in both Japan and US. There are even rumors spreading that Apple may soon seal a negotiation with NTT DoCoMo.

Additional reports from Bloomberg claim that on the same day the new iPhones will be introduced, fresh designs for the iPad will also be presented.

The new Apple Tokyo store is expected to open by March 2014.
