A New York homeless man has been arrested for stalking singer Rihanna at her SoHo and California homes. According to reports, Kevin Mcglynn was allegedly caught on closed circuit television delivering three separate threatening handwritten notes to the pop superstar over the last month.

Mcglynn was arrested by authorities Thursday evening after identifying him July 11 when he dropped his benefits card, which had his name and address printed on it, in the building where Robin "Rihanna" Fenty, 26, lives. It took some time before police found and arrested him.

Mcglynn was held without bail after appearing in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of stalking, harassment and menacing charges. New York Daily News reported Mcglynn also sent four additional notes to her in California.

In the letters, police said he repeatedly called Rihanna "a b***h" and threatened to "bum rush" into her home while she was there.

In court Friday, Mcglynn claimed he had a relationship with Rihanna and artists like her, Jay Z and Kanye West stole his "material." He also argued with Judge Abraham Clott, saying that he was lying when Clott told Mcglynn he could not represent himself.

Rihanna's lawyer said that the man's disturbing behavior had caused her to "fear for her physical safety."

"The nature of these letters [is] confusing," Assistant District Attorney James Vonocur said in court. "They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist."

Mcglynn has over a dozen previous arrests on his record, including four other charges for trespassing, police said.

The singer rented the 4,600 square-foot SoHo duplex on Lafayette Street last year for $14.6 million.

Unfortunately, the "Diamonds" singer has had previous experience with people invading her privacy. Last year, a man was arrested after being caught sneaking around Rihanna's Pacific Palisades home in California.
