Just a few days after stirring controversy with the provocative, butt-baring cover art for the second single "Anaconda" off her upcoming third studio album "The Pink Print," Nicki Minaj reportedly pushed back the highly anticipated track's release date because of Beyoncé's new remix.

The Trinidadian emcee recently took to her Instagram account to announce a new release date for the song, which was originally due out July 28. "My darlingz, I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4," she wrote. "I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu."

According to HipHopWired, Minaj is featured on Beyoncé's new remix to "Flawless," which is expected to be dropped very soon. A source in the music industry claimed that the YMCMB rapper delayed the "Anaconda" release date, "in order to avoid it getting lost in the sure to be excitement" of the R&B diva's forthcoming track.

Co-written by The-Dream, "Flawless" off Bey's self-titled fifth studio album features a speech "We should all be feminists," delivered by Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at a TEDxEuston conference. The "Drunk in Love" hitmaker first released it as part of her "Bow Down/Been On."

MissInfo also revealed that the Houston-bred crooner might show off her rapping skill on the "Flawless" remix: "It's possible that Beyoncé is spitting (not just singing) her verse."

In addition, Beyoncé's management company previously confirmed in last December that the duo was collaborating on a new track for Nicki Minaj. TeamMinaj tweeted:
