Julia Roberts Plays Face Balls With Jimmy Fallon: 'The Tonight Show' Does Comedy Version of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' [Video]
Known for her comedic talent and great sense of humor, Julia Roberts has proven that she is a good sport even as she gets hit right in the face with a giant inflatable ball in a guest appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. The 46-year-old actress agreed to join a new game called Face Balls with the television talk show host on Thursday night, Face 10 reports.
Fallon suggested throwing the inflatable balls to each other's faces while the other one sat defenseless from almost point blank range, to which she readily agreed. The two watched the video clip in super HD slow motion after the game.
Hilarity ensued among the audience, especially after Fallon's ultimate throw completely squashed the actress' nose. It should also be noted that the balls were really big balls, such that they had to be thrown with both hands.
Although she looked somewhat terrified in one of the screenshots, Julia took the game very lightly. She got to throw the ball at Jimmy's face anyways, so it was all even.
He initially promised to go easy on her after telling Julia to throw the ball at his face as hard as she could. She also found the whole thing funny and couldn't help but laugh as she joked that their exchange was a like the comedy version of Fifty Shades of Grey, Daily Mail reports.
Julia Roberts, at her age, proved that she still deserves to be called a Pretty Woman, as she went up to the stage in her simple black outfit that boasted her long, toned and tanned legs. Her outfit was made up of a short-sleeved blouse with ruffles to give detail around the neck. She also wore a pair of black tailored shorts with matching black platform lace-up booties. Years after she did her iconic role, Julia Roberts looked as if she did not age that much.
