Fans of the popular superhero drama "Arrow" can expect to see new cast members, crossovers with "The Flash" and the Green Arrow wearing a new costume when the series returns to The CW this fall.

In the lead-up to the premiere of Season 3, the show released a Q&A video where the cast and executive producer answered fan questions.

In the video, the show's writer and producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that there will be crossovers with the "Arrow's" new spinoff series titled "The Flash," starting in Episode 8.

Actor Stephen Amell also revealed that his character, Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, will get a new, updated costume.

"Suit upgrade is coming. There is going to be new stuff added to the suit ... at some point in the season," he said.

In the meantime, there is speculation that another DC Comics character will come to Starling City in the upcoming season.

According to KDramaStars, Nightwing will join the CW series and will be played by "The Vampire Diaries" star Steven R. McQueen.

Although there's still no official announcement from the studio or the network, McQueen has posted several cryptic tweets and Instagram post about his upcoming role.

On June 27, he shared a picture on Instagram of himself working out in the gym with the caption "#legday #nightwing."

In November, he also he tweeted several times using the hashtag #Nightwing.

Earlier this month, The Hollywood Reporter reported that actor David Cubitt has been cast in Season 3 as Mark Shaw. The "Medium" star will be introduced during the third episode of the new season as an A.R.G.U.S operative in Corto Maltese who crosses paths with Diggle. He also has ties to the Suicide Squad, which was featured last season on "Arrow." Eventually, Mark will take on the mantle of Manhunter.

In the DC comics, Manhunter is a name taken on by multiple characters who are part of a sect of ancient crime fighters with ties to Green Lantern. Starling City district attorney and prosecutor Kate Spencer was also a Manhunter before she was killed last season.

Ted is a former boxer who will operate a gym for underprivileged children in Starling City. In the DC Comics, however, Ted is a member of the Justice Society of America who specializes in mentoring and training crime fighters like the Black Canary.

In addition to Wildcat, Ra's al Ghul will also pop up as Oliver Queen's ongoing nemesis of the season.

"Arrow" premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
