Microsoft has finally announced the release date of the much awaited game console Xbox One - it will be out on November 22 in 13 markets.

According to Xbox One's blog, their initial launch markets for the famed game console include the US, the UK, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain. Many more markets will reportedly follow by the year 2014.

The November 22 release date for the new Xbox is also said to be a notable one, following Xbox release date tradition. Back in 2005, on the same November 22 date, the Xbox 360 was initially launched in the United States and Canada. Ever since, the game console has gone head to head with rival PS4.

The blog post also mentioned a last minute boost to the Xbox One.

"Finally, in the spirit of continuing to bring new value and excitement to Xbox, I am also pleased to confirm that the development team has increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ, roughly a 10 percent increase in CPU performance. This is on top of the 6% increase we previously announced for the GPU," the update read.

Earlier last month, Polygon also reported of an optimized GPU clock speed for the game console.

"An example that's actually been really good news for us...is we've tweaked up our clock speed on the GPU from 800 MHz to 853 MHz. Just an example of how you really start landing the program as you get closer to launch," Xbox Chief Product Officer Marc Whitten said in the report.

There has been an undeniable positive response from gamers for Microsoft's Xbox One which retails at $499 ever since its introduction in May. Pre-order supplies in the U.S. have reportedly sold out according to Xbox One's blog update.

Notably, Microsoft will make available a limited number of additional Xbox One Day One consoles for pre-order. The Day One edition of the game console features a commemorative controller and an exclusive gamer achievement.
