Blue Ivy: Beyonce's Alleged Surrogate Files for Custody
On Thursday, a woman named Tina Seals filed for full custody of Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
In the maternity lawsuit, Seals claims that she is the biological mother of Blue Ivy and that she was "previously associated" with the Knowles-Carter family, reports The Hollywood Gossip.
The Hollywood Life reports Seals is also demanding that the court judge grant her maternal rights as well as provide her with full custody of the toddler.
So far, there has been no evidence to determine any truth to Seals' allegations.
However, given the current rumors regarding Beyonce and Jay Z's strained marriage and the past rumor that Beyonce wore a fake baby bump during her pregnancy and hired a surrogate, Tina Seals' maternity claims may not be too far fetched, Starcasm suggests.
If Seals can prove her maternity to Blue Ivy, she may be granted full custody.
Seals filed her lawsuit in New York, and New York State Law permits a surrogate to have rights to their child even after they've signed away their maternal rights in a contract, claims Hollywood Life source, Leslie Barbara.
Leslie Barbara, a Matrimonial Family Expert, told HL, "It is entirely possible that a surrogate could come in and have some rights to a child. Even if rights were relinquished in a contract."
However, Seals' allegations remain highly questionable as she has developed a reputation for filing maternity lawsuits against several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey and even the Duchess of Cambridge, reports Starcasm.
In her lawsuit against Kim Kardashian, Seals allegedly asked for an undisclosed amount of money or a record deal for her son that she claims is Kanye West's child. [Starcasm]
While suing Mariah Carey, Seals allegedly demanded five vocal lessons with Mariah Carey's singing coach along with five CDs produced, mixed and distributed by Mariah Carey's label. [Starcasm]
So far, Beyonce and Jay Z have not publicly responded to Seals' claims.
