NBA 2K15 News, Release Date, Features & Online Modes on Xbox One & PS4 2014: PC Version Upgraded; More Euroleague Teams Coming
It seems like the NBA basketball just finished and we suffered through another LeBron James decision. Now, it's time to get ready for the 2014-2015 season and to preview the next "NBA 2K" video game.
"NBA 2K15" will debut for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One Oct. 7. The first game of the 2014-2015 NBA season is Oct. 28.
PC Graphics Will Impress
PC gamers sometimes feel that the graphics they receive on their versions of video games can't quite compare to those found on a console. "NBA 2K15" won't let that happen; the graphics for the PC version of the game will reportedly be just like those for the next generation consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4).
"The time has come for PC to go next-gen. PC from here on out is going to be just in line with our PS4 and Xbox One announcements. Every feature, every mode will be the same for PC and Xbox One and PS4," 2K news expert Ronnie2K said.
As long as you have a pretty good graphics card and a relatively new computer, you'll be able to experience these great graphics on your PC. You'll want to plug in a USB controller in order to control the game though.
Online Gaming Will Be Upgraded and European Teams Added
Online gaming for "NBA 2K15" will be better supported thanks to upgraded servers.
Also, to help incorporate the NBA's global appeal, more Euroleague teams will be added to the game.
"The global response to the integration of Euroleague teams into the NBA 2K series last year was fantastic, and a key factor in our decision to include the full complement of 2013-14 Euroleague teams in NBA 2K15," said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts. "We know there's a huge passion for basketball in Europe, and we're excited to further expand the number of playable European teams to make this the most comprehensive basketball game ever."
Soundtrack Artist
"NBA 2K15's" soundtrack will be compromised by mostly songs from Pharrell Williams. LeBron James is said to have picked the songs for the soundtrack.
