League of Legends Champions to Download: Azir, Emperor of Sands Joins Riot MOBA Servers; Summon Soldiers and Control Lanes of Combat
The highly popular MOBA from Riot, "League of Legends," has just announced the appearance of a new Champion that will join the game. The official name of the new Champion is Azir, Emperor of Sands, according to IGN.
Riot revealed that Azir is a mage. He is able to summon Shuriman soldiers to do basic attacks for him that provide the damage potential of Azir. It is said that Azir is an outlier among the mages, and his spells manipulate the positions of his soldiers to enable him to be safe while establishing dangerous no-go zones for his foes.
The soldiers that Azir summons are non-targetable. He can also call a phalanx to cover the width of one lane and push back their enemies. The phalanx can also be used to lock foes in and out of Dragon pits or Baron Nashor. It can also push the lane and obstruct team fights. Players of Azir will be able to have allied sentry to replace the destroyed turrets as well as earning gold for every kill.
League of Legends shared some of the gameplay of Azir. Through soldier placement, Azir is able to establish shifting power zones and thereby control the lane and thereby provide assistance. He uses Conquering Sands to reposition soldiers and create better opportunities, and the kill potential is unlocked by favorable trades.
Azir can also use the Shifting Sands against the enemy champion, which enables him to compel a Conquering Sands to finish the enemy while the use of Shifting Sands can rush out to get him out of danger. The addition of his ultimate gives Azir more control of the zone. When the player goes for the kill, Azir can be positioned behind his enemy using Arise and Shifting Sands. The Emperor's Divide will then drive the enemies deep into Azir's territory towards the tip of the spear.
