'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Cast, News & Release Date: Jamie Dornan Talks Naked Celebrity Pics, Reality Star May Join 'Fifty Shades Darker' Sequel
Jamie Dornan may play an S&M obsessed billionaire in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, but he draws the line on what's appropriate at hacking.
On Sept. 2, E.L. James, the author of the bestselling erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey," presented Dornan with the Vertu Breakthrough Award at the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards, Just Jared reports. The 32-year-old actor was awarded for accepting the coveted role of Christian Grey in the highly anticipated film adaptation of James' novel.
While at the awards, Dornan shared his opinion on the recent photo hacking scandal that has leaked alleged nude photos of various celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games") and singer Selena Gomez.
"What can you do? It's disgusting," he said according to International Business Times. "I don't know how they're going to keep control over it, but there seems to be so many different ways, you know, that your information can be accessed. I think the thing to do is just avoid social media if you can. I think that's certainly helps, but that's easier said than done."
In other "Fifty Shades of Grey" news, Kendall Jenner, reality star, model and younger sister of socialite Kim Kardashian, is rumored to be joining the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel. The movie, which would likely be named after the second book in James' series, "Fifty Shades Darker," has not officially been confirmed yet. Still, Daily Mail reports that a Grazia magazine source said the 18-year-old is in discussions with agents to appear in the movie.
According to unnamed sources, Sam Taylor-Wood, "Fifty Shades of Grey" director, is a fan of Jenner's reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
"She's fascinated by her and expressed interest in her appearing in the first film, but it didn't happen," a source said. "Universal [Studios] is also keen for Kendall to be involved in the sequel. They put in a call to her people and arranged a meeting last month, which went really well. It wouldn't be a major role but would certainly be a foot in the door of Hollywood. Apparently, she'll only sign on once Sam Taylor-Wood is confirmed as the director."
"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
