Esperanza Gomez posed for Playboy Mexico, where she opened up about her life.

The Colombian porn star revealed that she had been sexually abused at age 15.

"It wasn't something that marked me forever or ruined my life," she said. "It was a negative experience, like many that happen with people that are stronger than you. The first year after the abuse was very hard, but after getting help, I was able to overcome it."

Gomez also talked about first going into the industry.

She explained that she got into porn by sheer curiosity. She had seen a magazine that really intrigued her.

Gomez didn't even want to charge money for her first scene, but the movie did so well that they called her again.

Now, she shoots about six or seven films a year.

Gomez also opened up about her husband, who she said is very supportive of her career in the porn industry.

"I've come to think that he prefers to see me in a scene with others than when he has sex with me," she said. "He's always looking at my movies on the Internet. We have a great sex life."

Gomez adds that some think that people enter the porn industry because they didn't have the opportunity to study, but she said that she had given up other careers because the industry caught her attention.

She also said that though people's opinions are changing, they still think that it is an easy job.

Although she is the highest paid porn star, she said she doesn't rely on her paycheck.

"Fortunately, my husband has a good job and gives me everything," she said. "Before, I was saving my money, but now I'm investing. We're planning on launching a clothing line with my name, so we can take advantage of my popularity."
