Mortal Kombat X News, Characters, Gameplay and Release Date: Is Goro Coming to MKX?
Mortal Kombat X creator Ed Boon continues to tease Mortal Kombat fans on Twitter with his tweets about the upcoming game. His most recent series of tweets suggest that the game could include the character Goro.
In Tuesday's Tweet Boon shows a picture of "Goro's Lair," which appears to be an arcade with Mortal Kombat cabinet games and the words "Nice Lair." What could this mean?
It might mean that Goro is going to be in the next game, or it could be just Boon showing off his arcade.
But, then eight minutes later Boon tweeted, "Nice head," with a picture of a replica of Goro's head on his desk.
If Goro appears in Mortal Kombat X, he'll be one of the original characters from the game's debut in 1992 to come back. In the 1992 version of Mortal Kombat, Goro was an unplayable boss character that needed to be defeated to move on in the game.
On Aug. 29, Boon tweeted a picture of six black and white feet. This tweet seems to mean that these are the feet of some of the characters in the game. Could they be new characters? Old ones? It's hard to tell by the black and white picture.
Boon loves to tease his almost 95,000 followers on Twitter. He teased them about the game's release date, about the characters and much more.
What do you think of all these teases by Ed Boon? Is he trying to anger Mortal Kombat fans or get them excited for the 2015 release of Mortal Kombat X? Leave us a comment below and let us know what you think.
