In addition to the new plots, foils and Booth's brand new attitude, a new baby may also be on the way when Fox's premieres Season 10 of "Bones" later on this month.

During last season's blowout finale, Booth and Brennan's home was destroyed in a hail of gunfire and Booth was arrested after he was framed for murdering three federal agents.

According to execute producer Stephen Nathan, Season 10 will start four months from where the finale left off, with Booth still in prison and Brennan desperately working to set him free, he told BuddyTV at San Diego Comic-Con 2014.

Nathan also recently opened up to TVLine about the upcoming season, revealing that "the story has taken a huge leap forward when we pick up in the premiere."

Eventually, Booth will be freed from prison after the Jeffersonian team discovers a break in the case "and they run with it," said the EP.

However, the "emotional ramifications" of the being locked in prison will linger on with Booth and Brennan.

"He has been in war zones before, but he's never been betrayed by the people and institutions that he trusts and has risked his life for," Nathan said. "That's a big thing to deal with. There will be fallout from everything that's happened that will trail out over time."

On a positive note, Brennan will welcome Booth home with a new home, said Nathan.

The showrunner also dropped a major teaser, revealing that another baby could be coming onto the show.

"At some point in the not-too-distant future, we will probably see a very little person who cannot drive or feed themselves yet," Nathan said. "But how that little person makes their entrance, and from whom, is something I'd like to keep to myself."

FOX has released an official description for the first episode of Season 10, which is titled "The Conspiracy in the Corpse," reports KSite TV. It reads as follows:

"In the Season 10 premiere of BONES, Brennan and the Jeffersonian team are desperately working to get Booth out of jail, clear his name and absolve him of crimes he did not commit. The remains of a man who has been dead 16 years could be the point of origin in the entire government conspiracy that ultimately put Booth in jail. Meanwhile, Booth is faced with a challenge from a new and politically ambitious FBI agent (guest star John Boyd). As he awaits trial, Booth also realizes that many of the convicts with whom he is locked up are criminals he put in there, and Daisy and Sweets have a surprise for the rest of the Jeffersonian team."

"Argo" and "24" star John Boyd will also make a guest appearance on the season opener as FBI Special Agent James Aubrey.

"Bones" Season 10 premieres on Fox Thursday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET.
