Prince George is going to be a big brother.

It's been confirmed that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, notes the Washington Post

The British Monarchy's Twitter account confirmed the news earlier on Monday.

A spokeswoman said that Middleton is not yet 12 weeks pregnant. The baby will be fourth in line to the throne, which means that Prince Harry will move down and become fifth in line.

The official announcement said that Middleton is once again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is known as "acute morning sickness." She was supposed to be with Prince William at Oxford, but she was being treated by doctors at Kensington Place instead.

The pregnancy was announced because Middleton might miss more appearances.

She was supposed to go to Malta in September, which was supposed to be first trip overseas on her own, but it might be something that also has to be canceled.

With the news came marketing opportunities for brands.

For example, Nissan U.K. said that Middleton could have triplets, and there'd still be space for the entire family in its Nissan X-Trail, which seats seven.

Others took the humorous approach and said that the announcement has come just in time to sway opinions for Scotland's independence votes.

Prince George was born on July 22, 2013.

During the family's visit to Australia, Prince George kept making headlines.

Middleton was given a book about wombats, and she said that George was "obsessed with wombats at the moment."

Middleton was also concerned that Prince George would be too noisy for the Taronga Zoo. She thought her son might scare the animals.
