Khloé Kardashian has recently called it quits with rapper beau French Montana after eight months of dating.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, who already dealt with estranged husband Lamar Odom's infidelity, apparently was skeptical of the Moroccan emcee's loyalty.

"Khloé does not want to come off like the victim in this but there were huge questions about French's loyalty," an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "She just doesn't believe that he's faithful to her and she's not going to stick around to be humiliated, the way she did with Lamar."

Also, it certainly was not an easy decision for Kardashian to dump the "Don't Panic" rapper.

"Khloé has been going back and forth for the past few weeks, she didn't know what to do but it's been a hard time for her," the insider said. "Last week she was saying she was going to officially end it so it's very fresh."

Unlike the highly publicized breakup with the former NBA basketball player, the reality star wants to protect her image this time.

"Saying that French was too needy is her way of getting in a little dig," another source said. "The last thing she wants is to get a reputation that she's the girl every guy cheats on. She's not going to let it happen."

Similarly, E! News also reported that Kardashian began distancing herself from Mr. Kharbouch because she was getting tired of his "needy, obsessive" behavior. While the couple is still in contact, the "I Ain't Worried About Nothin'" hitmaker "won't really accept" that they are no longer together and is trying to save their relationship.

"But eventually they will be totally broken up," a source said. "For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again."

The source added that the pair's breakup had nothing to do with the previous claims that French Montana may have been using Khloé Kardashian for fame.

"That stuff never bothered her because she doesn't care what people think," the source said. "She's just decided to move on.

"Khloé thinks he's a great guy but it just wasn't working out."
