Now that the iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch have been unveiled, what is next in store for Apple and its fans?

Apple enthusiasts may be seeing some new products in the coming year, including a new iPad and thin Macbook that may come in different colors.

A new ultra-thin Macbook could be hitting stores as soon as mid-2015, according to a report by MacRumors. The new 12-inch notebooks have been in the works for some time now and it had been believed to launch around mid-2014, perhaps along side the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch, it has yet to be announced by the Cupertino, California-based tech company.

However, the new notebook may be arriving within a year's time. A new thinner Macbook with a Retina display, button-less trackpad and a fan-less design could entice many consumers to upgrade to a thinner and lightweight notebook. To add to its appeal, the new Macbook is rumored to come in three colors: silver, gold and space grey.

These are the same colors to be featured in the new iPhone 6 so it would make sense that the new Macbook will also come in the same color schemes. Even if the colors are not a permanent option for consumers, like the various colors of the iPhone 5c, they could release the new Macbook in the three colors as limited edition.

Aside from the new laptop, Apple could be releasing a new iPad mini 3 in October, according to Macworld UK. Both previous iPad minis were announced in October and went on sale in November so it could very well happen again. The upcoming tablet could feature a touch ID system and a faster processor.

However, that is not the only device that could be potentially be released in the coming months. This includes the Apple TV, which could rival similar concepts by Amazon and Google. Although not many details are known about the new device, Macworld UK suspects the new product could also be released in October.
