Lake Mary Police this week released two videos showing the escalating tensions between George and Shellie Zimmerman as the couple became embroiled in a domestic dispute earlier this week.

According to NBC News, Shellie claimed that she and her husband agreed via text message that she could go and retrieve belongings from their home as long as George stayed away for the time being.

Clearly, this was not the case. Shellie's attorney, Kelly Sims, said that George showed up with a "400-pound bodyguard" and a "blonde friend."

George was seen on police video footage with his hands up and eventually getting handcuffed. Another video released by the police -- from the couple's home security cameras -- showed Shellie filming George as the couple walked through the home. The iPad was later destroyed, but the question of who destroyed it, or how, remains unknown.

"He then accosted my father then took my iPad out of my hands," Shellie said during the 911 call she made to police during the dispute earlier this week. "He then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife, and there is a Lake Mary city worker across the street that I believe saw all of it."

Although Shellie said she wouldn't press charges against her husband, Florida law still allows authorities to prosecute people without one side pressing charges. Shellie or George could face charges if the investigation

In the midst of the couple's dispute, George Zimmerman's lawyer announced that he will not represent him in this case but will still remain the lawyer in a lawsuit against NBC.
