Actress Marsha Stephanie Blake will be joining the cast of "Orange is the New Black" for the show's upcoming third season, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Blake will play a new corrections officer to the Litchfield prison. Blake's role will be recurring throughout the third season. However, additional details regarding Blake's character are still being kept under wraps. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Blake, whose previous credits include "Django Unchained" and "Girls," will join the ever growing list of new additions made to the "OITNB" cast that include Mary Steenburgen (to play Pornstache's mother), Blair Brown (undisclosed character) and Mike Birbiglia (undisclosed character).

However, Pablo Schreiber, who also played a Litchfield CO on the show's first and second season, announced that he would not be returning for the show's third season.

In addition to the keeping the characters of the new cast members a secret, the "OITNB" team has also done a great job of keeping the plot line of "OITNB's" third season under wraps.

Though no specific details have been revealed from the show, "OITNB" cast members have dished [here and there] on what to expect on the newest season of the Emmy-award winning series.

During a recent interview with E! News, "OITNB" actress Taryn Manning opened up on what fans can expect to see from her character, Pennsatucky in the next season.

"There will be more surprises and moments coming where you're like, 'I love Pennsatucky!' And then moments where you're like, 'I want to kill her,'" Manning told E! News. "There's more fun stuff coming for her. I'm excited for people to see that she's just like everyone else. We're all human in a sense. Everyone can make a mistake -- but some people aren't right in the head and they're disturbed -- but I think she's going to be all right. I can't be sure because she's unpredictable and I love that about her."

Netflix has not yet announced the premiere date for the third season of "Orange is the New Black."
