The NXT Takeover: Fatal 4-Way lived up to its high expectations, as the WWE continues cultivating their developmental division with the live show airing live on the WWE Network.

Baron Corbin defeated CJ Parker in a squash match while Bull Dempsey beat Mojo Rawley in singles competition. In a Hair vs Hair match, Sylvester Lefort lost to Enzo Amore, but did not lose his hair as required by the stipulations of the bout after Cassady helped Lefort with his escape but losing his hair in the process.

The Ascension, NXT's longest reigning Tag Team Champions, lost their titles to the Lucha Dragons -- Sin Cara and Kalisto -- while Charlotte retained her NXT Divas Championship against Bayley. In the main event, NXT Champion Adrian Neville defeated Sami Zayn, Tyson Kidd, and Tyler Breeze in a Fatal Fourway match, with "The Man That Gravity Forgot" pinning Kidd after hitting his Red Arrow finisher.

KENTA also made his NXT debut, announcing he would now go by the name Hideo Itami before he was attacked by The Ascension, who demanded that NXT Commissioner William Regal give them an immediate rematch against the Lucha Dragons. Itami stormed back into the ring and violently cleared the squared circle, giving the NXT Universe a glimpse of what to expect. Itami will make his WWE ring debut on Friday's NXT taping.

In WWE News, it looks like The Big Show may be next in line for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship title shot against Brock Lesnar after the "The Anomaly" handles business with John Cena at Night of Champion. While Lesnar has already beaten The Big Show at last year's Royal Rumble, the company is looking for a reliable opponent who can go toe-to-toe with Lesnar and the Big Show fulfills seems to fit that need for the company.

Meanwhile, it looks like Bray Wyatt may get his first shot at some championship gold in the WWE with rumors that he may be put in a feud with WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in the near future. Wyatt is not scheduled for a match on Night of Champions and may get involved in Ziggler's title defense match against The Miz.

Daniel Bryan is looking to return to action possibly in time for the Survivor Series. It was recently revealed that Bryan will not need "Tommy John" surgery as he continues to recover from neck surgery, with the former WWE World Heavyweight hoping to get back into championship contention by the end of the year.

One WWE superstar who may not be making his return anytime soon any time is Batista, saying he is too busy doing Hollywood movies to return to the squared circle this year. Batista, who played Drax The Destroyer in the "Guardians of the Galaxy," will likely appear in the sequels and future "Avengers" movies, as well as the re-make of the "Kickboxer" movie.

In other news, CM Punk's legal representation recently sent WWE a letter regarding the use of his image in the "WWE2K15" video game, as well as issues with his royalties payments. WWE is rumored to have stopped sending Punk royalty checks, arguing that he breached his contract when he walked away from the company. While GameSpot.com reports that both sides are talking about a possible settlement regarding the upcoming video game, including taking his likeness out of the game -- which may cause a delay in the release date -- the situation has not reached a point where legal action will be involved. "WWE 2K15" is expected to be released October 15.

Lastly, former WWE and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) wrestler Sean O'Haire was found dead on Tuesday at his home in South Carolina, according to TMZ.com. While toxicology reports are still pending, O'Haire is reported to have committed suicide, with his father finding him in his room with a rope tied around his neck connected to the bedpost. O'Haire, along with Chuck Palumbo, was one-half of WCW's last official tag team champions and worked in the WWE from 2001 to 2004 before moving on to New Japan Pro Wrestling; he retired from the business in 2006. O'Haire tried to take advantage of the WWE-sponsored rehabilitation program hoping to kick his alcohol addiction, according to TMZ, having done six stints in six years prior to his death.
