Super Smash Bros. 4 Character Leaks & Gameplay for 3DS, Wii U: Surprising New Characters Highlight Upcoming Version of Game
With every game release, there is anticipation, rumors and sometimes leaked information. For "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U, that leaked information came in the form of which characters would be in the game. There are many predictable characters and fan favorites, but there are also some surprises.
Who would have thought the dog-catching bird from the original "Duck Hunt" game for NES would make it to "Super Smash Bros.?" He did not really do anything in the game besides retrieve the dead birds you shot, so who would think he knows how to fight against Mario and Yoshi?
Bowser Jr. and Diddy Kong will definitely be in the mix according to the leaked photos from an Internet poster named "ESRB0083." This user posted a screen capture of the character selection screen.
If you look at the screen there are five full rows of characters and a sixth row that includes four more characters. If you are a Nintendo gamer, you definitely are going to recognize most of these characters.
In the final row it looks like Mega Man is going to be in the game. That would be pretty cool. And, in that final row, who is that smiling yellow character? Is that Pacman? It sure is. Now that is an old school character; I wonder if he knows how to fight?
Of course, the classic "Smash Bros." characters will return. Kirby, Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, Link and Pikachu will be back. But, these new characters are what makes this game look so awesome.
Release Date: As we reported earlier, the release date has been accidentally leaked and it will reportedly be out on Nov. 21. This is exactly one week before Black Friday. That means gamers will have money to spend before going out the following Friday morning and buying that big screen TV.
Gameplay: It is really up to you. If you want to play for fun pick "play for fun," if you want to complete the quest and brag about it pick "play for glory" mode.
