Hispanic Heritage Month & Latin Social Media Wrap Up: How Angelique Boyer, William Levy & Sebastián Rulli Show Love For Latin America
Although we're in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month, many Latino celebrities don't wait until then to spread love for their Latin American country. Here, we rounded up some of the best moments from your favorite celebrities.
Angelique Boyer expressed her love for Mexico on Mexican Independence Day when she was away from the country. But as soon as she came back, she once again started sharing pictures of the sunrises she loves to watch in Mexico.
On Sept. 18, she said, "How sweet it is to return to Mexico, and have a gorgeous day." The next day, she was still grateful to be back. "This is how #Mexico awakens. Today is a great day," she said.
Sebastián Rulli has been in Mexico for a long time, but he will never forget his country. During the World Cup, he made sure to rep both places. "All with Argentina!!! C'mon Champ," he said.
Thalia started celebrating Mexico before Independence Day, and over the course of a week, she shared a few pictures that showed how proud she was of her country. The singer has been in trouble before for pictures of herself wrapped up in the Mexican flag.
Gisele Bundchen was one of the biggest supporters of Brazil during the World Cup, and she posted pictures of herself wearing jerseys and posing with the flag. But one of the more subtle ways she posted love for Brazil was by showing an old picture of herself honoring one of Brazil's biggest figures, Xuxa. "Ready to the show..How about the hairdo? #tbt #1992 #greatmemories," she said. The supermodel and her friends dressed up like Xuxa's Paquitas.
Eiza Gonzalez has been a little too happy to share her pride for Mexico, which got one of her images deleted from Instagram because of foul language. But she's also simply shared her pride for her country by choosing to vacation there and calling it "paradise." Gonzalez took her new boyfriend along as well.
William Levy may be Cuban, but he also loves Mexico. During a recent interview, he explained that he would definitely consider coming back to Mexico. "In the future, if God wants it to be so, I would love to do something here in Mexico," he said. "I enjoy Mexico. I love Mexico." He recently went to Mexico for a shoot, and he documented his trip on Instagram.
Even Colombian Sofia Vergara can't help loving Mexico. The "Modern Family" star is very proud of being Colombian and it's something she mentions regularly. She shared a picture of herself vacationing in Mexico, and said it was "heaven."
