As fans get ready to see how Jamie Dornan works as Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, one actress is saying he is a pleasure to work with on set.

Gillian Anderson plays DSI Stella Gibson on BBC2's "The Fall," which also stars Dornan as Paul Spector, a serial killer.

In an interview with Mirror Online, Anderson described her experience working with the rising Northern Irish actor.

"He's very, very funny and good at telling stories," she said. "He's a good mimic as well. He's a lovely lad."

Anderson, 46, said some people barely knew who the underwear model-turned-actor was when the show first started.

"On the first series, people were like, 'Who is this guy? Is he an ex-model or something?'" Anderson explained.

Working with Dornan, 32, has also changed the go-to conversation in the former "The X-Files" star's life.

"Now people don't want to talk to me about 'The X-Files,'" Anderson said. "The only ask about Jamie Dornan."

Another celebrity is also sharing their thoughts on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" family.

Author Jackie Collins, who has had 29 novels on The New York Times bestsellers list according to Jezebel, recently differentiated her work from the original trilogy by E.L. James in an interview with Porter that hits newsstands on Friday, Page Six reports.

"My heroines kick ass," she told the magazine. "They don't get their asses kicked."

Collins added that HBO's "Girls" is "not my favorite."

On Sept. 21, Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who plays the non-ass-kicking heroine in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, were both spotted at the LAX airport in California. With both actors in the same airport on the same day, some suspected that the two could be reshooting scenes from upcoming movie. Neither actor has commented.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
